The world premiere of the new version of "Leave, or The Surface of the World" was presented by After Dark Theatre Company as their inaugural production. Following its initial performances at the University of Minnesota, Morris campus, two additional performances took place at the Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis, MN, on September 11th and 25th, 2008. The director was Justin S. Latt. Stage manager was David Schilmoeller. The cast, in order of appearance, was as follows:
