Synopsis

Dr. Worm has been forced out of his flooded home by a spring rain storm. A young boy named Pete comes along and, after nearly stepping on the learned worm, they engage in some spirited word play.

(Note: the dialogue is gender-neutral, so that the roles could be played by the opposite sex, with a change of the boy's name to Patty.)
