Leave, or The Surface of the World
The play works best with very little in the way of set, moving from one scene to the next with light as the transitional element, and no blackouts. Some concrete items needed would be something to serve as a bed, something to indicate two people sitting in a car, and something to indicate the site of a grave.
The civilian clothes would be standard modern-day wear. The military clothes would include at least one full dress Marine uniform (for Seth), and two sets of battle gear (for Seth and Jonas) for desert duty. Also, a couple of United States Marine Corps (USMC) T-shirts for some of their leave wear (Marines don't wear their camouflage home).
Props are also minimal, mostly having to do with phones and the writing of letters.
